A question about : Natwest sending post to incorrect address

Hi All

I go a letter from Natwest - No bank details or anything in it - but it was sent to an old address one that they in theory should have.

The only account I have with them is my joint one, which has always had my current address associated with it (and thats not changed for 6 years) and all the most gets addressed to my other hafl - I don't even have a debit card for it.

Hi, I am trying to find interest rates for Lloyds classic account and also gold saver 2 acc. I have just been on the website and rates say correct as from 2012 ?? Trying to be more saver savvy but so confusing anyone help please ??

A question about : High Interest "Current" Account

I wish to open an account with at least Ј50k. From that account regular weekly payments will be made circa Ј100 each week. It is not expected to make further deposits to the account. What is the best bank/account for this situation?

I'm new to this website but liking the look of all the tips. I'm 22 and have 3 months left of my 4 year plumbing apprenticeship so have been short on money for a while but eventually going to be on some decent wages. Now I am about to be coming onto a slightly better wage for my 2 year probation period as a tradesman (roughly Ј1600/1700 pm taking home), I need advice on how I can start saving.

A question about : Horrible experience with Tesco Bank

After spending a total of 4 hours calling over 4 months and sending my ID and bank statements 3 times, paying for a certified copy 2 separate times...

I just got a letter, a week after my account was opened, that Tesco bank cancelled my savings account after careful consideration.

I spent such an insane amount of time on the phone, so many separate days, always new things, we didn't get proof of id, etc. etc.

We assure you, we only reached this decision after careful consideration

A question about : 2 direct debits

I am switching current account to co op standard current account to be eligble for the Ј100 cash and Ј25 charity reward.

I need 2 direct debits, I do not have any....

Can you recommend with whom I can easily setup 2 seperate direct debits please?

Dont worry I am not switching my main account to CO OP just one I opened up off the cuff.

A question about : Bank switching cash bonuses

Hi all,

I'm looking to take advantage of each of the various Ј100-Ј150 switching bonus cash current accounts out there at the moment. Is there any best method for getting all the available bonuses by switching from one to another?

Any other offers other than Clydesdale and YB Ј150, m&s Ј125 voucher, coop Ј100 and Halifax Ј125 and First Direct Ј100.

And last question, is the Clydesdale/YB offer available once per bank? Their T&Cs don't appear to specify.

A question about : Santander bank IT not fit for purpose

Having inherited some tens of thousands of pounds on the death of my parents, I followed the general advice and moved my (and my partner's) banking to Santander to get the 3% interest.

BIG MISTAKE!

At the end of January the DD that pays our rent simply failed (it worked once and that was it) - it had cancelled itself and Santander could offer no explanation as to how this had occurred.
