A question about : NatWest Contactless faster than Barclays Contactless ?

I know there will be a technical reason for this somewhere but I have just received a Barclays Contactless debit card to replace the non contactless debit card on my barclays current account.

The card begins 4658 58.

My Natwest Debit card begins 4751 29.

When I use my Barclays Contactless card the machines always say 'Authorising' and then 'Approved', with the NatWest card is just says 'Approved' as soon as it is tapped against the machine.

A question about : HSBC overdraft review charges.

Evening, could anyone help me? I have 2 accounts with hsbc each with a overdraft applied to them. Each year I get charged about Ј60 on each account for HSBC to 'review' my overdraft, which always comes back to say the overdraft I have is appropriate for my accounts. Can HSBC really charge me for this every year? And do all banks do this?? Thanks in advance for any help. X

A question about : how long to leave account

I paid a motoring fine to the court by giving my visa debit card details to the court web site on Monday, got an automated receipt later but checked my account today and the money has not left my account, just wondered how long it should take to show up.

A question about : Will my NatWest Debit card work on the train to buy tickets ?

I have just opened a NatWest current account, and I am wondering if I can use the Debit Card that came with it on the train, as I know some cards you cant and I don't really want the embarrassment of it getting declined. I know it works in the ticket machine at the station, but sometimes the machine is out of service (Small station with one machine) but I am just not sure about on the train, and I don't want to get into trouble by not having a ticket.

back in 03/04 i had a bouncy castle business. Due to life events I decided to sell up. The bouncy castles were sold to a buyer and the cheque was deposited in my bank. The cheque was cleared and paid and collection was arranged.

We use the Halifax account as our main day-to-day banking account and I am very happy with it. We originally switched for the bonus and Ј5

I have a donor account at Natwest waiting to be switched.

I've just picked up on another thread that perhaps I could switch this to Halifax as a sole account? Move some of our joint DDs onto it and still qualify for the switching bonus?

This would be my preferred switch if so!

Is this possible?

A question about : NatWest Monthly Update ?

I know Lloyds etc get a monthly credit feed update from your credit report and then based on that and your internal score use that to offer you things, but do NatWest do that ?, and if so what day of the month do they update ?.
