There doesn't appear to be any interest on classic?
On the Gold Saver it is tiny?
Could you consider switching to Club Lloyds and the regular saver?
  • Unless you have 'Vantage' bolted on to your Classic account then you won't be earning any interest on it.
As suggested above you would be better to switch a Club Lloyds account if you meet the criteria for earning interest.
Also the 'gold saver 2' is an old account so pretty much any other type of savings account will give you a better interest rate than what you are currently getting.
    Hope this helps

  • Thanks for your help Xylophone & Dobbibill , the manager of the bank transferred my money into the classic when I complained I had been charged Ј5 on my club Lloyds account because I had fulfilled the criteria except the 2 direct debits !! So now sorting out my bad accounts, Santander instant saver just realized is paying me 0.1% .
  • Yes Yorkie after 3 months of no interest I did stop paying wages into the account and incurred the fiver !!! https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/new...ld-you-sign-up
  • Hi billy1,
As advised by YorkshireBoy and Colsten above. The Club Lloyds has different criteria for different perks.....
pay in Ј1500 per month to avoid the Ј5 fee
    AND
pay 2 d/d's per month to earn tiered interest on your credit balance
If your not meeting both criteria then maybe it's not the right account for you.
It's always good to have a good sort out of accounts/finances and review things every so often anyway.
I hope you find something that meets your needs
    Hope this helps
