A question about : Debenhams Sales Tactics

Hi
Hoping for a little advice Re: Debenhams Sale, last weekend.
I ordered some glasses online, to be collected in store.
After payment was taken, I received an email, saying order was being processed and would be contacted shortly (18/11).
On 19/11 received new email saying order had been cancelled- unable to fulfil, payment refunded.
Went online today and items are back in stock, at full price again.

A question about : Returning Earrings

My daughter bought my wife a lovely pair of stud earrings a few days ago, but my wife didn't like them. The tab is still on them and they are still in the box.

Our daughter took them back to the shop (Argos) and they have refused to take them back. They say it is for hygenic reasons.

Is this lawful ?

My wife has returned earrings to other stores without problems.

Has anyone out there ever ordered mugs from Monster Mugs in Stokes Hall Avenue, Leyland? This is just a warning: Beware! I ordered 250 promotional mugs; they asked for full payment before dispatch. They then agreed we could just pay 70%. We never received the mugs. We've tried to contact the company but they don't respond.

Hi All,

I would like to return my faulty laptop and I'm not sure where I stand, it is proving difficult.

So, I bought the laptop 6 weeks ago and a week after receiving it the touchpad had some issues, as it is new and still under warranty I sent it to the Acer Service Centre to be repaired. 2 weeks later it returned and all seemed fine until yesterday when the same technical issue reoccurred.

I've purchased a Renault Megane from a local mid-sized trader which has developed a fault within 3 days. While on a motorway I suddenly got a engine failure hazard - stop warning.

The warning went away after turning the car off and on again after a few minutes. But now I notice that the car is losing power on it's 3rd and 4th gears and the engine failure warning is coming on intermittently. I've only had the car for 12 days now and I was on a holiday for a week of that.

Bought an Asus lapsus laptop for Ј600 which was replaced by a HP Pavilion laptop for Ј500
When did you buy it?
First one was September 2013 then replaced November 2013
Where from? (internet or in store - it DOES make a difference)
PC World in store
How did you pay? (cash/cheque/debit card/credit card etc)
It was a credit gift card from my insurance company and used my credit card to top the cost up
What went wrong?
