A question about : June 2015 Thread

Couldn't see one so wondered if any of you lovely lot have June as a date? We're June 20th (which is also our 7 year anniversary) and I just wondered how you're all getting on! It still seems very surreal to me at the moment

A question about : Wedding venue help needed

We have booked our wedding at a hotel in Derbyshire for July of this year, it has been booked since May 2014, contracts all signed, deposits paid etc.

It is based on exclusive use of the venue, all the bedrooms etc, and choice of rooms we can use for the wedding breakfast.

One of the big selling points to us was an outdoor ceremony area that they are constructing. July - hopefully beautifully sunny, will be absolutely wonderful to tie the knot outside.

A question about : Should I get her a present/flowers for the day?

39 days until we're Mr and Mrs I can't WAIT!

I want to get my wife to be a little something that she can either open before (we're not getting married until 2.30) or after we get married.

There's loads of things I know I can get her, however given how things are going to be, I a) don't want to upset her before or b) get her something i.e. flowers that everyone else may get her.

A question about : Ideas for cheap wedding transport

Hi,

We are fortunate enough that a family member has a nice car we can use as one of our wedding cars, however its likely we will need one more car.

Is it possible to hire executive looking taxi's without all the usual branding etc on?

Would only need to pick up mother in law and bridesmaids, take them to church, then say an hour and half later take them to venue. After that the car wont be needed.

A question about : Engagement Rings (merged)

How much should I be spending on an engagement ring, I have no idea how much rings cost normally so it's difficult to compare. Obviously I know what type I'm looking for but with these types of purchases (ie for the woman) I find it's important to get the cost/quality ratio correct!

Please help!
