A question about : Bank of Scotland

I have the Bank of Scotland Reward current account. I get Ј5 per month for paying in over Ј1000 (I think that's the threshold anyway), no interest and am registered for their Rewards. I've activated the Every day offers for the stores that I think I would use but don't go out of my way to spend money in these stores just to get cash back. As a result I have had Ј1 after spending money in Morrisons Supermarket but have yet to have any of their every month we refund x number of purchases for our customers with their It's on us.

A question about : Business to Personal Account Payment

Hiya all,

Done some work for someone for which I have invoiced for - a one off project

They told me payment was sent on Tuesday to me but have not received it yet

Before I went back to them this afternoon I just wanted to check that business to personal accounts still follow the same faster payment terms as other bank transfers do

A question about : Business Bank Account for Receiving Money from Abroad

Hi,

I currently run a small (1 person) business and have non-UK based clients. I'm currently doing my business banking with RBS because its mostly free, but they charge me to receive money from abroad.

A question about : bank account to use for switching

Just wondering if you could open a 'basic' bank account to use to switch with to be able to qualify for switching bonus.
If so which ones are best and would I need to have it open for a minimum time before being able to switch?

A question about : Santander 123 odd interest date

I have received my Santander 123 interest without fail on 28th every month since opening the account 2 years ago, as 28th is when I opened the account. However today I noticed an interest payment in my account, 10 days early. Has anybody experienced this before and found the reason why?

Or shall I call the select helpline and ask the dedicated select account managers for the first time to see if they're any good?

A question about : Santander Debit card abroad

Hi all,

Have Santander Debit card for my 123 account.

Done a bit of reading, and that card is not recommended for use abroad because of the charges & loading it attracts.

However, I vaguely recall reading that some ( or all ) of these charges don't apply if you use it in a Santander ATM.

Going to Lanzarote in a few weeks, and I know from previous visits that I have seen Santander ATMs in the resort we are staying at.

So, if anyone can fill in the gaps in my knowledge, would be appreciated.

A question about : CO-OP current account switch incentive

I opened a CO-OP standard current account for the sole intention of switching one of my donor accounts for the Ј100 bonus.

When signing up it asks you for details of your main current account and I used my Halifax Reward details as its been open for years and figured it would help with the application process.

A question about : Packaged bank accounts

I have a Barclays bank account, it was a student account but turned into a graduate account, when opening the graduate account I was informed about the Ј7 package I could have to allow me to have a free overdraft and various other things.
