I'm looking for some advice with regard to benefits for my elderly father. I've never claimed myself and am finding the various sources of guidance extremely confusing.

My father is 76 and is diabetic and has been for many years. He is also on medication for high blood pressure and has a heart murmur.

He lives with my mother and their work pensions are such that they receive, from memory, around Ј5 per week HB and Ј7 per week CT benefit (maybe the other way round).

A question about : Ex has income paid via his wife to avoid paying CSA

Hi this has been going on for a few years now and I feel CSA are fobbing me off. My ex pays Ј21.81 a month for our 2 children, his wife doesn't work at all. He runs his own company (think he changed it into wife's name) and claims he only earns between Ј5-Ј100 a week.
In reality, he drives around in brand new Range Rover, has bought a 6 bedroomed house in France, owns a large 5 bedroom house in UK, holidays in caribbean frequently and claims he shall be able to retire soon because he's earned enough.

A question about : Ex Going Self-Employed

Hi

Ex has informed me he's going to be self employed from the next couple of weeks. Previously I got paid regular maintenance as he was in full time work. However he's telling me payments may be irregular with him starting up. He's not disputing the amount, just when it might be paid.

Do I just have to accept this? Is there anyone out there with a self-employed ex (or a paying father who is self employed) who could advise me?

Morning!! I am after some advice if that's ok. Been meaning to register on here for a while so here I am.

My little boy is 10 now been paying every month no problem (never missed a payment). Now I am looking into taking out a second job althought it may be on a zero hour contract although I am hoping it will be a 24 hour a week contract.

Just wanted to know where I stood really with the csa?

We split up last year. My ex had gone into YOLO end of life, she is working very very hard and partying hard. I'm with children ( 2 of them ) 5 to 6 days a week usually for the last few months.

A question about : Getting Child Support from ex-partner in Australia

Hi,
I am someone who actually has got a child support case with Australia. Took a long while to track my ex down, but I was determined to do it for the sake of my 4 kids. Took a while to get it up and running and ok,he still does all the usual tricks to avoid payment. But at the end of the day, he has the CSA asking for money, which given the fact he left the UK owing me thousands(which I will prob never see) and they do send me the small amount he is assessed at.
