A question about : equal pay for like work but no descrimination?

Hi all,

I get paid less and also get 5 days less Annual leave than some of my colleagues when I do like work and often actually do work that would be regarded as supervisory. I have looked into the equal pay rights for like work and it seems to only be for differences between gender or ethnicity.

Just hate these. They have been my downfall for last 3 interviews.Everyone appears to be using this method when interviewing.

A question about : Interview offered...then withdrawn

So I had applied for a job for Greggs in the nearest main town where I live. Received a phone call on Monday afternoon asking to attend an interview next Monday. I asked if I would get an email to confirm which I did this afternoon. But apparently they sent another email half an hour after later saying that I had not been selected for interview. Wtf? Are they allowed to do this?

A question about : Yodel Delivery Driver

Hi

I've been out of work for just over 3 months now. I've been living off my own savings, and while they still have a while before they run out completely, I hate seeing them going, down and down.

Anyway, I just saw that Yodel are looking for delivery drivers with their own car, in an area near me.

Has anyone done this job, and what did they think of it? Though I've spent my recent years in a professional job, when I was younger I was a postman, and did curry deliveries (enjoyed it.)

I was recently employed as a call centre customer service adviser, I was sacked from the job for Gross Misconduct. I was gutted because I felt I was doing a good job but I was having trouble following certain policies within the company too many times and had a lot of personal stuff going on in the background. I would agree it was my fault but I feel I wasn't getting the right information sometimes.

I have been given a health questionnaire to complete prior to commencing new employment, which is supplied by a third party.

There are several agreements on the back of the questionnaire regarding consent to discuss the information given with either the new employer or your GP.

I work for a blue chip company and have been with them for thirty years. Around five years ago the company decided to introduce a new contract type which of course is far less superior to the contract I hold in terms of wages, time off etc
