Hello All and Good Morning.

I'm currently in full time employment and pay the usual tax and NI on my earnings. I've been offered some free lance work which could be around Ј500 one month and then maybe nothing the next. I can't say exactly how much I'll earn but I do know that I'll have to raise an invoice which they'll pay by cheque at the end of any month. I then need to notify the tax man and pay the usual. My questions to you knowledgeable people are: -

A question about : NHS Dentist Bill

Last year I was unemployed for 6 months and claiming JSA in my home town. I undertook some dentist treatment to my tooth and was told I would not have to pay and all my treatment was included in. Only half the treatment had been completed before I started work again and had to move.

A question about : doing training for volunteer event via JCP- also jobsearch needed?

will be all day training for a week, then helping at JCP for 2 weeks after..

Would they expect people to also do a full job search, on top?

A question about : just found out any annual leave during my notice period wont be paid!

I'm looking for advice from anyone else who may have been in this position.

I've recently been offered a job pending references with a local authority and have been advised by the new HR department to hand in my notice once references have processed. I currently work for a civil service organisation and spoke with my manager today about providing a reference.

I recently started a new job. I am disabled (suffer with CFS/ME) and made it quite clear I had it when I was interviewed. The post was for 30 hours a week. I'd been given other offers but sales assistant seemed to be the most convenient in terms of travel times and matching my previous experiences.

A question about : Are we allowed to name and shame

I have recently worked for a couple of agencies, each one for just one day each. Neither of them paid me.

Are we allowed on here to name and shame companies that do not pay staff, to allow job seekers to make an informed choice if to work for them of not.
