A question about : CO-OP current account switch incentive
I opened a CO-OP standard current account for the sole intention of switching one of my donor accounts for the Ј100 bonus.
When signing up it asks you for details of your main current account and I used my Halifax Reward details as its been open for years and figured it would help with the application process.
I'm planning on phoning the CO-OP in the next few days to do the switch but the donor account I'm switching will be a Santander Everyday which I opened about a month ago (2 usual tesco DD's in place on this).
Just wondering if anyone knows if the switch process staff have details of the main account details you submit with the original application as I couldnt work out if it was for their future reference or just as part of the application checking process. There's obviously no way I'm giving up the free fivers from Halifax.
Best answers:
- It doesn't matter. They only ask that to check who you bank with to match it to your credit file for the application.
Switch any account.
