Travel Hamper Help

A question about : Travel Hamper Help

Hello,

We decided we'd like to do a travel-themed hamper for my sister-in-law and her husband, so I'm after a few ideas title=Smile It's not for a particular trip, but they like travelling in general and usually go on a few holidays a year to slightly more unusual places. Next year they're hoping to go to either Japan or USA/Canada, so might be nice to incorporate those somewhere.

christmas birthdays

A question about : christmas birthdays

Does anyone else out there have a christmas birthday? if so how do you feel about it?

i hated it when i was little but love it now as we always go out for our family meal to a local pub and i end up getting extra wine! (a good money saving tip potentially!)

also out of interest, how do you parents cope if your child has a bday on or near xmas? my sons is on the 4th december so not too close, but still means money can be a bit tight at the start of the xmas shopping!

Have you got your tree up yet?

A question about : Have you got your tree up yet?

About a week ago I noticed shops putting them up in the windows for displays, then the other day I saw one outside Scotland Yard in central London. I think I'll wait until December 1st at least, but my parents do strictly 12 days before Christmas. When will you put your decorations up?

Reliable plug in Christmas decorations?

A question about : Reliable plug in Christmas decorations?

I really love the moving/singing santa's and light up village scenes etc that are easily available right now. Problem is, I seem no have no luck with them at all. Every one I've had has only worked for one christmas and either won't work at all after unpacking it the next year or quits sometime during christmas. They are expensive too.
