I have unearthed a few 2nd class stamps from Christmas last year. Anyone know if these are still valid?

A question about : Help

Oh dear, I am heap big trouble. Came downstairs to find I hadn't put my son's advent calendar away.., and the dogs stripped it totally.

Got an 8 year old whose going to be fairly upset when he comes home.

I live in quite a small town. So I think I'm in trouble trying to find a replacement.

My son, unfortunately is going to want an advent calendar with chocolate something in it. Offering a donation to charity instead isn't going to cut it lol.

A question about : Snatch Bingo ideas

I absolutely loved the snatch bingo idea that someone suggested on here last year, so did it with my friends and with my family, and they all loved it too.

So, have decided to try and start putting bits by when I see them this year - random O2 Priority Moments gifts being a good example, but I also thought it might be useful to start a thread so any others playing this game or any similar game where one buys tat for presents could post good ideas of things they have seen.

A question about : Hamper ideas for a couple who like cruises

Stuggling with what to get my brothe ran dhis wife as a gift, they have recently starting taking cruises and have 'the bug', with taking three in the last year.

I thought of a hamper around cruising, maybe a small suitcase or handluggage bag with various things inside, but I'm struggling with what to put inside:

suncream, mozzie spray, towel......

I've never been ona cruise, would I be ok making a hamper the same as someone who likes flying holidays?

A question about : Xmas Dinner

We are hosting Christmas dinner this year, and I was wondering what you all do with regard to serving the dinner. Do you plate everyone's dinner in the kitchen and give it to them at the dining table. Or do you put everything in serving bowls etc and put it on the table for guests to help themselves?

A question about : Potted christmas tree

We're not bothering with a big Christmas tree this year. I'm pregnant, feeling rough and haven't really got the energy for it all but we're looking at getting a small one that will look lovely next to our fireplace.

I've seen the ones that Tesco have, roughly 3-4ft in red or gold pots. decorated inc lights for Ј20.

Before buying one I was just wondering if any other supermarkets etc have similar for cheaper?

A question about : Ј5 gifts

HI all, we have a Ј5 max price gift for my sisters and brothers in law - however finding hard not to buy anything that just looks really naff! Anyone spotted any Ј5 bargains around this year. Got the Ј5 cookbooks on Amazon last year but not spotted anything so bargainous (is that a word?) this year. All ideas welcome
