A question about : Mature Student

Hello,
I'm 42, have 2 kids (aged 10 and 6). I have a place on Pharmacy (4yr full time) starting in September and if I'm successful at interview next week, I hope to also have a place to start Medicine (5yr full time) in September (2015).

I went to private secondary school, my parents scraped the money together to pay for it. I paid for my own education after leaving at 16. I paid for myself to study BSc. in computing over 5 years part-time whilst working full time.

A question about : Urgent advice wanted

Im in urgent need of some advice. Basically i got made redundant a while ago. Ive been unable to claim any benefits due to my redundancy pay. This money has been used to pay off some of my vet bill, for a seriously ill horse and has now all gone.
I have managed to get some temporary work for the next 5 weeks up London. I need to find a loan for Ј30, to enable me get to this job for the first week. I will get paid weekly, so the rest of the travel i will be ok for, its just this first week.

It's a bit of a long story but hopefully I can get some advice...

I am looking to take out a 10k loan to consolidate Overdraft, CC and loan debts that my husband and I have accrued. I have been approved by my bank for a loan of 10k at 15.4% APR over three years- so not great, really.

A question about : Chances of getting a loan with a good rate?

My husband is looking to buy a new car but needs to get a Ј15,000 loan. The car finance company offer a loan of 4.9% but we have 'seen' better elsewhere. Just wondering with the following facts if it's worth trying to see if we can get Sainsburys 3.9% loan?

A question about : Why does he have to pay insurance when theres nothing to cover

My husband could no longer afford to pay for his taxi insurance which was Ј5000 over the year when they informed us that they are adding over Ј900 to the total.At the same time he stopped work and put his car for sale so he could pay off most of the car loan.

The insurance broker and insurance company have both written to us saying that we owe them Ј4000. Can they do that? The insurance started in November 2014.

A question about : Ј25k Loan

Hi Guys,

Can anyone suggest any deal for Ј25k loans that allow for unlimited overpayments with out charge/change of interest rate?

• All of them, I believe.
  The bigger consideration is applying to the right lender who may approve such a large loan.
• Most loans will allow for unlimited overpayments nowadays. Whether anyone will accept you for a Ј25k loan without security is a different matter.

Hi,

I currently have a loan with Northern Rock and wanted to extend it in order to upgrade my car due to needing something bigger for a new arrival without increasing my monthly outgoings too much, obviously Northern Rock are no longer offering loans and so I will need to change to another company.

A question about : Fowlers Finance Pickle!

I know I'm an absolute fool for doing this, but need some advice please.

I contacted Fowlers Finance as I was having trouble getting finance for a car (even with a fair credit rating).

I spoke to someone in their Stoke office (I'm based in Manchester) and they said that they would find me the car I wanted (A VW Polo 1.4). I was asked to pay Ј100 'commitment deposit', which was supposedly their fee for sourcing a vehicle.
