A question about : Sunny.co.uk at it yet again

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, maybe it's more suited to the praise and vent forum.

Has anyone noticed the new Sunny Loans TV adverts - ignoring the fact they're really slimy, implying that a loan with insane APR is helping people succeed in life - they don't include any information regarding the cost of the loan or APR of almost 1300%!

I'm enquiring on behalf of my father and I am also apologising in advance if what I write doesn't come across in the right way or make sense.

My Dad has 2 credit cards, 1 Halifax and 1 Santander Balance transfer card. He has asked me to enquire as to whether there's an option out there for him to take a loan out to pay the two of them off and just have a loan payment going out every month?

I'm not 100% sure if I have explained it enough so will do my best to elaborate more if that is needed.

Is it possible to workout yourself (roughly or accurately), a settlement figure on a loan after you receive your annual statement?

A question about : Rejected for M&S loan

I have a good credit rating with no missed payments and not a massive amount of debt vs my income, but I've just been rejected for an M&S loan, which I was hoping to buy a car with.

I've recently bought a house for the first time, so I thought this may be the issue. My wife and I both earn decent money and haven't overstretched ourselves at all with the mortgage (it's about 1/4 of our net income).

Would it be better for us to apply for two smaller loans or one of us apply for one large loan?

Went into my bank account to check the glorious final car payment of Ј131 (60 long months) and found this lot have taken Ј429? I've long lost the 5 yr old paperwork, is a giant final payment normal practice? Bought it from Arnold Clark.
