A question about : Ebay listings.

Hi, I am having trouble with my ebay listings. Every time I preview my listing the txt I have entered about my item doesn't appear on the preview page. Is it ebay or am I doing something wrong ? Thanks.

I'm usually pretty good at keeping on top of my stock levels but this one slipped through

Buyer purchased on Friday, I realised that I was OOS on Saturday & messaged via EBay to offer a similar replacement. No response by Sunday, so directly emailed her (I've not been able to find a telephone number) to apologise & ask whether my suggested alternative would be acceptable to her.

Recently I sold a diet/cookery book on Ebay for the princely sum of Ј2.80 including postage. As it was small and inexpensive I popped it in my local postbox (ie no proof of postage). Shortly afterwards the buyer left me positive feedback.
Today I am informed, via EBay, the she has not received the book!! I immediately issued her with a refund..... OK lesson learned, always use recorded delivery from now on. In addition she had no feedback so there's another lesson learned.

A question about : Ebay fake policy

Having a bad experience with Ebay. Been sold fake trainers (blatant and the seller admits it after the fact.) Trying to get Ebay to treat the claim as fake and not a straight return has been a nightmare.

Wondered if anyone else had similar issues?

Their policy is clear (search for money back guarantee ebay page) but they dont seem to follow their own rules. I would expect them to take it seriously if suitable evidence is provided (which I did...) The seller is now openly selling fake stuff...

Hi All.

I recently bought an electronic item from a private seller on ebay.
Item arrives with a suspected intermittent fault, I inform the seller and get an electronic engineer to check over the item , engineer confirms a fault , repair costs are an unknown without attempting the repair so return and refund seems the best course.
