Hi, we currently have our car listed on ebay and the advert contains all the usual info re MOT, engine size, number of seats, year of manufacture etc etc. Someone has contacted me re the advert asking for the registration number to check if they can afford the insurance.

A question about : Advice on courier please

I want to buy a footstool on ebay but as usual it is at the other end of the country, (Isn't it always) and collect only.

It weighs around 10 kilos and cheapest courier I can find is Ј50 which means there is no point me bidding.

Other people are offering similar things and offering economy postage of Ј10

So question is this who are they using if they can offer del for Ј10?

A question about : No money for refund

I bought an item via PayPal on EBay yesterday. Seller contacted me to say he can't post to my postcode. I said ok and issue refund. Got a message from Seller saying partner moved monies from PayPal account and cannot refund until someone else makes a purchase!!

Is this normal as I have never had a reply like this before?

A question about : Problem with photos

I'm relisting some items that didn't sell and the photos aren't appearing just a little grey box. Was just wondering if anyone knows if theres a problem at the minute. Thanks.

I added tracking to an item which was promptly delivered.

Ebays tracking link says We expect your shipment information soon.

But Hermes website has full tracking and delivery details.

Problem is buyer as spotted this and filed an INR claim. She is refusing to communicate and is probably confident she cant lose.

How can i compete if Ebays own system is at fault - and ebay don't read claims? Hate getting scammed.

Pleased with this so far, around 30 sales over 2 weeks via the listings Ebay translated for me.
However around 5 buyers have not paid, is anyone else on the programme finding this?

Does anyone have any experience of delivery times from the UK to Spain (Valenciana?) please ?

Buyer placed an order on Sunday 1st Feb, with an EBay delivery estimate of Feb 5th - 9th & has just messaged me asking where it is as it's the last day of the delivery window.

A question about : BlockingThe USA again

Having opened my listings again to the US after Christmas I've decided to block them again.

Just had a full INR case open on eBay .com for an item bought via ebay UK in Mid December, no previous contact. It looks as though the 30 day limit to eBay claims does not apply on eBay.com as my only option is to refund or add tracking.

Bother and blast.
