A question about : credit card clearance

Hello, this is my first foray into this, so please forgive any mistakes.
my wife ran up huge credit card bills, which we struggled to pay, eventually she got them frozen, so now pays them interest free.

A question about : WARNING

Guys, a word of warning on the above subject.

Mrs GunJack ordered flowers from Interflora via the web and paid with credit card. The following month she had a transaction for Ј8 appear on her statement from shopdisc.co.uk.

We'd never heard of them, let alone bought anything from them. To cut a long story short, it appears that when you buy from Interflora, you are AUTOMATICALLY signing up for this tele-marketing company's subscription services. This was direct from the company's rep on the phone.

A question about : Morgan Stanley Ј20 Annual Fee

I received a letter from Morgan Stanley today which said from the 1st June 2007 they will be introducing a Ј20 annual fee for my card.

I don't know if this will apply to everyone or if it's because I always pay my bills in full each month?

Suffice to say once i've paid my next bill they will be getting a phone call to cancel the card!

A question about : capital one payment

Word to the wise guys.
A red announcement on the capitall one site says they are currently unable to accept debit card payments and to read your T%C's for alternative payment methods.
This could cause grief for those like me that dont use DD but pay each month on line especialy those that dont get paper statements.
Alternative is only BACS as cheques can take as long as 10 days to clear to your account.
No idea if this is a short term thing or what.

A question about : MBNA credit card help

Hi All,

Need some help with the below credit card I am looking to set up. I'm looking to borrow Ј3000 and transfer it to my current account to buy a car. Am I correct in thinking that it will be a fixed 4% fee for the transfer?

What will the minimum monthly repayments be on Ј3000?

Would I be able to pay the loan off early if I wanted to?

MBNA platinum credit card

Is this the best option to go for considering that I will be able to pay this amount off within 24 months?

A question about : Partnership Credit Card

Hello, I applied yesterday for the Partnership Credit Card from John Lewis & Waitrose.

I received a call today and was asked questions and then got told I was approved for the card, it's the first card I've had with a rate under 20% APR!

What I wanted to know is what are they like as a credit card company I did search the forum but can't get much info, just from years ago.

Does it take long to get the card? Is it still issued by HSBC as its not clear from there website.
