A question about : Citi PLATINUM Visa

Quick question for all you experts out there ;D

A question about : 2nd Barclaycard

I currently have a Barclaycard Visa with quite a high (unused) limit.

I requested (via my account) an accompanying Barclaycard Mastercard, as I thought it would be useful to have a Mastercard as well as a Visa.

BC wrote to me offering the MC, but it would not be with a separate credit limit. Instead, I would need to transfer some of the credit from the Visa to the MC.

A question about : Credit Card Application 'Honesty Test'

I am doing the rounds at the moment shuffleing cards with 2 at the moment at 0% and noticed that some members have upto 10 cards on trhe go.

My question is how honestly do you answer the question about how many cards you own?

And, Does this affect whether the application is succesfull

A question about : Mint SBT

I took out the Mint card and got a limit of Ј2800. I phoned a few months later and they increased it to Ј3300. I have phoned them recently and they refused to increase anymore because they can only increase once every six months they said.

However they said that if you can produce evidence of savings etc and send your savings and current account details to them they will review your limit based on that. You can ask for the limit you like.

A question about : help required

Right I am new to this and I was hoping someone could help my mum save some money....

My sister (v irresponsible) started a student Barclaycard and ran up a debt of Ј400; my mum has now been paying it for a year and al she seems to be doing is just paying the interest and maybe Ј5 of the debt.

I read an article on this site about 0% interest on some new cards (balance transfers).

A question about : credit card cash

sorry if this seems stupid but..........

is it worth taking out a credit card with 0% and put all off the cash into a savings account then just paying back the minimum each month from my current account? also if i do this how do i transfer the money into the savings account because isnt there different rates for cash withdrawals??? please help!!!!!!!!!!!

Right the question is regarding some credit card and debit cards which offer *free* purchase protection on "most" goods bought on them over Ј50.

A question about : Sainsburys 0% card

Hello,
I've got a Sainsburys card that allows 0% on purchases,which is fine.
Though I would rather use the 0% for balance transfers from other cards.
But they charge a higher rate for balance transfers.
Is there any way i can get around their purchases only rule and really what are the benefits of the purchases only cards?
