A question about : Balance transfer Amex to Santander

I want to transfer the outstanding balance on my American Express credit card (British Airways American Express Premium Plus card) onto my Santander 123 Credit Card (ie. I want to pay money from Santander to Amex).

Myself and the beloved are traveling to Australia via Dubai for a two week holiday then onto Thailand for a week.
Whats the best card to take so that we are not charged for local cash at atm's.
Do we need a pre paid card and if so which is the best one for oz/thailand.
We have both visa debit and world Mastercard at the moment but don't wish to carry wads of cash.
Any advice appreciated.

Im looking for some advice. I currently have an overdraft of about Ј2000 which is slowly reducing each month ( by approx Ј300-Ј400) My overdraft fees are about Ј25 per month.

I have a holiday to pay for in March in the region of Ј2000 and also a settee in August for about Ј1300 so the overdraft will increase again.

I'm considering obtaining a 0% credit card to pay for the holiday and settee which will mean the overdraft will clear fairly quickly and therefore the fees will cease.

A question about : Accidentally bought tickets twice

My husband bought 2 tickets to go to a convention. He forgot he had bought them and then bought 2 tickets again.

He bought them with the same credit card but they were bought a few months apart.

The company say that the financial transaction has taken place so therefore he cannot get a refund.

They were bought with the same credit card. Is he able to get a refund even though the company say no? (No tickets are posted as you have to print off the scannable coded).

A question about : switching energy supply

blimey its been hard work to get to this point people!

My question is this; I look after my dads accounts etc, would like to switch his electric supply online on his behalf, How do I go about this ? I can only do it from my pc and he lives 40 mins drive away, so cant have him with me. could I just do it in his name without getting in trouble through the data protections act? Other than doing it over the phone I'm at a loss to know how to do it. any ideas??
