my wife is being treated terribly in work and is now threatened with redundancy. a quick overview:

Hi sorry if this was asked before I can't see it
But recently been given notice for redundancy
And was wondering how that would affect the
Money I've put into my firms saye share schme?
I will have amassed Ј4000 which will be returned
To me at the end, as part of the saye this was never
Taxed during the collection will it be taxed when its
Returned now as due to the redundancy?

I have just been made redundant after 9 months with a company. can anyone give me advice on what i will and won't pay tax on.

1, I get a months pay in lieu of notice, i,e i have been told to finish work today but i get paid until the end of february.
I think i pay tax and NI on this?

A question about : Redundancy Alternate job offer

I am being made redundant in September. I currently manage a division of a larger company and my part has two arms, one part is being closed but the other one will continue to trade as normal.

I have been offered a role with the remaining part of the company (even though officially I still run it). The new role is Ј23K less than my current package and I would lose my other benefits, company car, pension contributions, private health etc.

Hi, i'm sure someone can help me.... !!! my partner works in a small hotel managed by a brewery ( they employ a manager to manage the hotel, and partner is paid directly by the brewery) and has been like this for many years, but we have just found out that the brewery are now putting the hotel out to a tenancy, so the new employer will be the new lease holder.

A question about : Voluntary redundancy query

Hi, hope I'm posting in the right place and that some of you wise people out there may be able to advise me
I was employed for 25 years in the same organisation (NHS) which had extremely good redundancy T&Cs ( a months pay for every year). Unfortunately 2 years ago we were TUPE'd over to another organisation (local government) under a 2 year TUPE agreement. The new organisation is under extreme financial pressure and has opened the option of voluntary redundancy.
