A question about : Annual domestic oil usage

Hi,

Can anyone out there give me an idea of what they pay/use annually for their domestic oil bills for heating? i.e. how many litres (on average/ or recently) you use in a year. If I can get a few replies I guess I can get some kind of average and/or an idea of what's the norm (or not!).

Any extra info would be great, such as 3 bed semi, 4 people, The South etc''....

A question about : Switching Butane Superser to Propane

Hi all,

I have a superser gas heater, which I have been buying flogas 13kg 21mm cylinders for.
I recently had a duff cylinder, which flogas are replacing, but in the meantime I have a 6kg calor propane cylinder and reg from my old caravanning days.

Will the red setup work well with my superser, or will I need to wait for flogas to eventually sort themselves out and get me a replacement?

A question about : First Utility

We switched to First Utility from Southern a Electric in October on a 1 year fixed deal.

So far it is much cheaper for us, paying Ј97 a month instead of Ј135 a month for dual fuel.

They emailed me this week to offer to switch me to their 3 year fixed deal without penalties. The downside is that my electricity costs would go up from 14.52 to 15.73 and my gas would increase from 4.02 to 4.29.

we just move in to a 4 bed detached house and would like to know what a average oil usage would be as we kept the heating low and on timer but still go though 1000L in 4 weeks is this normal ?
