Hi guys long story short (ish)

Rbs have charging order Ј22,000 (always paid never missed )

Iva for various other debts appox 12,000 possibly less

A question about : Turned down for IVA

Hi Everyone
Has anyone on here been turned down for an IVA?
Basically our largest creditor, who has 50% of our debt has rejected our IVA offer because they were not happy with the 12 pence in the pound offer put forward by Payplan. The creditor is Enact and we owe them approx Ј29000 from a mortgage shortfall sold on to them by Santander. The IP seemed very surprised that we were turned down.

A question about : IVA

Hi,

Looking for some advice please!

I have around Ј12,000 of debt with a couple of different creditors. Last summer I felt a bit desperate with repayments etc and entered into an IVA with payplan, I think at the point it was just getting to me and I was worried about defaulting on payments so I made a rather snap decision and am thinking I've probably made the wrong decision. But it's been done now.

Three years in to our IVA, we offered a full and final settlement of almost the whole amount of the remaining two years payments, which was accepted and we just got our completion certificate.

A question about : rules for renters

I gather that if you are a homeowner on an IVA, you are required to try and remortgage after 54 months of an IVA.

However, if one is living in rented accomodation, does the IVA last for exactly 60 months and end? I am just on 4 years into my IVA. I cannot get any information out of my IP.
They don't help with much at all, really.
