A question about : Credit card post IVA for section 75 cover
Three years in to our IVA, we offered a full and final settlement of almost the whole amount of the remaining two years payments, which was accepted and we just got our completion certificate.
Really need a credit card as want to get section 75 cover for a range cooker. Quite happy to be paying in full for the item - not looking for the credit, but the protection if we pay the deposit on the credit card and pay it off at the end of the month, in case the retailer goes bust before delivery, or the appliance turns out to be faulty.
How do we go about seeing our credit file and applying for a card asap please. Also any suggestions for best company to try.
Having had no money to spend on appliances for over three years, they really are about to give up the ghost any day.
