Good evening all

Are there any other females out there with thinning hair?

Do you have any tricks up your sleeve to make your hair look thicker and maybe stop it thinning any more?

Best Moisturiser ???

A question about : Best Moisturiser ???

Looking for my recommendation for a good moisturiser. I am 35 the fine lines are starting to appear and my skin looks a bit deflated these days, definitely not as plump as it used to be. My skin can be a bit dry but usually I would just describe it as normal. Maybe I am looking at these Bo Toxed Celebs too much.title=EEK!

Best High St optician

A question about : Best High St optician

I need to get my eyes tested and a new pair of varifocals. Where is the best place to go? Optical Express look as though they're offering a free eye test and some offers at the moment but I often wonder if sometimes opticians offer free eye tests and then make the money up elsewhere. any views?

What to do with used makeup?

A question about : What to do with used makeup?

Hi,
I would like to get rid of make up items that I no longer use, but they are not new so I can't sell them.. I hate putting them on the bin as I think someone can still use them, but not sure how?

Would it be ok to offer it on freecycle?

nhs dentist on holiday?

A question about : nhs dentist on holiday?

I'm on holiday in Wales, (near Tenby) and i think i've got an infection in my tooth/gum, its very painful, can i visit an nhs dentist here? At home, in england, my nhs one said you need to be regestered with them before you can see a dentist.

Best answers:

  • No one is registered with a dentist in England or Wales. 'Registration' was abolished in 2006.
You can go and see who you want providing they have capacity to see you (and a spare appointment slot)

Medical records request query

A question about : Medical records request query

I'm currently having ongoing care at a hospital for a medical issue, and I want to see my medical records.

I know if I make a subject access request for copies, the hospital can charge me up to Ј50. If I have to pay I will - but I'd rather not (especially as money is tight at the moment).

I've been told that if my records have been updated within the past 40 days I don't need to pay anything to view them. Would that cover all my notes or just the most recent updates?
