Diet Clubs

A question about : Diet Clubs

Afternoon everyone.

Does anyone know of a diet club that does not promote it's own synthetic foods! And that does not advocate the use of low calorie rubbish?

I don't want to go back to WW or SW because I hate the way they push their own products and that they tell you that eating low calorie/low fat foods are good. I prefer to have natural, non processed foods and I generally cook everything from scratch.

Adult Acne (I think)

A question about : Adult Acne (I think)

When I was growing up, I never had any acne issues, not even pimples apart from occasional ones.

After 25, it started to go bad. I do have a lot of black/whiteheads and also developed an acne problem.

It first started when I lost my father, around my chin, I have developed big bumps, painful and sometimes red.

They are still there and on my face, I do have couple of spots, when I touch, feels as big as a chickpea perhaps, can be painful too. Obviously gets worse before periods.

Home made/Chemical free Deodorant and Toothpaste.

A question about : Home made/Chemical free Deodorant and Toothpaste.

I am wondering if anyone makes their own deo and toothpaste? Could it be done cheaply? I am looking to get away from using as many chemicals as i can when it comes to personal care, and thought these would be a start.

I have googled recipes, but they all seem to contain a long list of ingredients. Is it possible to use just a few ingredients, since the idea is to be frugal as well?

A question about : Partial Flexiable Dentures Adivice

Hi, can anyone offer me advice of the above topic?
I know that these are only available privately and NHS will not pay for them. Does anyone know the cost and best type to buy?
I need a denture for upper teeth only.

Thanks in advance for any information on this subject.

RIP Tiff

A question about : RIP Tiff

Sorry to be the bearer of sad news for anyone on MSE who remembered 'Tiff' - she lost her fight with cancer yesterday. Tiff was a regular poster on MSE, mostly on the Depression Support Thread, which ran for several years. She was a constant source of support for many of the posters on that thread, myself included, and I know many of us are indebted to her for her kindness and compassion (and humour).

Palmers skin therapy oil

A question about : Palmers skin therapy oil

I`ve been using this for 5 days and I`m finding that my skin is developing dry patches ,which surely is not the aim of this product!

Has anyone else had this problem?

I`ve used vaseline intensive lotion before this ,which I really like as a moisturiser ,but was looking for something that could even out skin tone, so if anyone could suggest something that works for them please let me know! Thank you!

    What do you veggies eat??

A question about : What do you veggies eat??

    Hi,

I'm going vegan for 2 weeks (part of a detox diet), but all the recipes I found and I've been cooking contain pulses, so I've managed to put on weight despite not eating flour, chocolate or sugar...

Everything I've been eating for lunch and dinner contained chickpeas or beans, which must be the cause of the weight gain? (also feel quite bloated all the time), but I struggle to find things to eat that do not contain pulses...

What do you veggies out there eat??
