hate interviews so would appreciate tips, suggestions of questions to
ask its a 30 minute interview by a panel of three followed by an IT
test was advised this was data inputting

A question about : help with termination of contract

hi, wonder if anyone can help me. i am currently in receipt of incapacity benefit and am still employed but have been off since dec 03. my doctor has advised that i will never be able to return to my old job and to ask for a mutual termination of contract. i thought my work would be happy to get me off their books but instead i have had nothing but trouble, making my condition much worse.

Grandparents and childminding advice? the tax office says that grandparents could become registered childminders too. However the grand parents worry that they will end up paying too much tax - they have a small pension. the tax office has mentioned to speak to a financial adviser. can anyone help. is setting up as a limited company any help. there are grand parents in Uk and in France and we are regularly between the 2.

A question about : Has my OH been given a bad reference?

Since Feb my OH has been looking for a job but has had no luck at all. He has applied for a wide variety of positions and is highly qualified but seems to get knocked back before interview. I am begining to wonder if he has been given a bad reference from his previous job and was hopeing that someone might be able to tell me how I might go about finding out what they are writeing in his refence? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

A question about : Advice on pro-rata entitlements

Scenario is as follows:

3 days a week (25 hours), pro rata holiday entitlement Jan-Dec is 16 days, but where do I stand on bank holidays? My normal days are Tues-Thurs, so am I entitled to time off due to the bank holidays on a pro rata basis?

this might be the wroing board, but I was looking for a job for my saturdays to raise some extra cash for a deposit on the house... I have started giving french tuition at a tenner an hour (i dont have teaching qualifications), and I had a phone call from a lady who is home working with a business called Sante International. I am supposed to see her tomorrow but I went on the site and it says that to get started you have to pay 75Ј for a starting pack with the licence etc...

A question about : help for partners brother

he is 17 and just wants a job!!!
he is such a good worker
never misses a day, but the jobs he is getting are only temporary
he cant work shifts till hes 18 and has just finished a temp job that he loved

he lives with his mum who has a younger son and recieves income support

she thinks he is not entitled to any money while not working because he is not 18, is this right?

A question about : National Insurance Contributions

I'm considering taking on a part time job for 16 hours a week @ Ј5.50 per hour, so the gross pay would be Ј88. If I treated this as my principal job for tax and NI purposes; am I right in thinking that I would not be paying any NI on this job? (I think the lower limit is something like Ј92 per week).

If this is the case, does that mean that if I ever needed to rely on my NI contributions in the future; would I be disqualified?
