A question about : NO More 0% Credit Card Deals According to Mint

Hi All,

I just been clearing up my finances and after speaking today MINT they advised that the credit card industry wont be doing any more 0% balances in January but just offering long term long low interest deals. Ok this may just be sales talk but it does seem strange all the really good credit deals seem to have dried up.

A question about : RBS Royalties Gold

Im about to upgrade to this account (the travel insurance alone pays for the account charges), has anyone else done this recently and how easy is it to do.

Also does anyone know what is the grading to get the "gold" Rbs Highline card as opposed to the standard sliver one. One of my friends has a gold one and he has no idea why, always puzzled me.

I currently have a HSBC advance current account. I have had this account for years and want to keep it as my main current account. I have also just set up a loyalty ISA with HSBC which I plan on transferring Ј25 a month to to gain the Ј10 per month bonus.

A question about : ATM withdrawal limit Ј300 (no-longer Ј500)

Abbey is dropping to Ј300 per day (instead of Ј500) the maximum daily amount customers can withdraw via cash machine from the bank's account. This takes effect on December 1st. The reason for reducing the amount is said to be because fraudsters target cash machines, according to a leaflet received with the latest Abbey bank statement.

In addition, customers will be able to withdraw up to Ј500 in cash over the counter in any Abbey branch.

A question about : Direct Debit Cancellation Issue

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice on how to proceed with a problem with my recent switch from Halifax to Co-op Banks.

In January I opened a Halfiax current account and switched two direct debits over to it from Lloyds (one of which was a payment to my TSB credit card), and also opened a Co-op bank account.
