A question about : *Simple* Christmas cake decorating ideas please.

Hi,

For the past few years we have had an annual Christmas Cake competition at work. I have always done reasonably well, but I don't do conventional icing (although I do like marzipan).

My cake is in the oven - you may see reports of an unidentified cloud of rum vapour drifting slowly over parts of Staffordshire - so please does anyone have any ideas for simple decorating schemes that even I might attempt?

Hello all,

I break up for the Christmas hols on Wednesday and we've all been asked to take in some food to share. I've been asked to bring in sweet stuff and wondered if anyone had any cheap recipes for cakes or biscuits (for a newbie cake or biscuit maker) who needs to feed up to 30 teachers and assistants on a I've been buying xmas presents all day budget.

I've all day Sunday to experiment in the kitchen so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

A question about : An unusual Christmas lunch

My OH and I have decided to do our first Christmas together at his house, along with him, me and my son, there will be his parents and his sister and her OH.

Situation is this... He (and his family natch) are Jewish, I'm not. His sisters OH isn't either. His dad (but not him) eats kosher, his mum and sister are vegetarian and his BIL isn't keen on spicy stuff.

I have always cooked a normal turkey with bacon on top and the usual sausages & bacon combo.

A question about : Ideas for card craft beginner

Hi everyone im new to this so bare with me .Can anyone give me some ideas on how to use tissue paper in my card making?? most of what i have is bright pink but i have some white and some patterned. I have been card making for about 5 months now and love it and have just finished making my first ever paid order of 9 cards and pretty pleased with my self but any tips in card making would be fantastic thanks
