I've seen a thread about christmas clubs/hampers somewhere on here and thought we could lump them all together? To help those of us that prefer to shop this way, to spread the cost, avoid the crowds etc.

inspired by this post, i thought it would be a good idea for us to share tips on how to avoid succumbing the the stresses of christmas. many see christmas as a stressful time, because for them it involves keeping everyone else happy and then having to adjudicate when world war three commences between relatives who've overdone it on the sherry so any tips on how to keep the peace, enjoy the day and avoid family arguments welcomed here.

A question about : Clutter free gifts / stocking fillers??!

I love Christmas, especially with 3 kids (7, 3 and 17months old)! However, I am struggling to come up with ideas for stocking fillers.

The kids have so much stuff already, and I don't want to add to the clutter with more little bits and bobs around the place. However, I don't want them to miss out on the fun of finding a stuffed stocking at the end of their beds!

The things I have thought of are the obligatory satsuma, chocolate coins, socks (!), hair slides, pencils.

A question about : Photo xmas cards!

I'm wanting to have some xmas cards made up, with photo's of our babies on. So was wondering where the cheapest or nicest ones you'd seen were. I've seen some on snapfish which are 6.99 for 20, and the more you buy the cheaper you get them, https://www1.snapfish.co.uk/photocards but thought there may be cheaper/nicer out there!

A question about : Christmas Cracker Novelties/Snowglobe ornaments?

We (well, the boys, who are 5 and 3) are making our own crackers and snowglobes this year for the family.

Where is the best place to go for small novelties for the crackers (loo roll inners) and ornaments (cake decorations?) for the globes (small babyfood jars)?

I've had a look on eBay, and have a couple of ideas, but really want a proper shop so I can check they'll fit in.
