A question about : News about trains constant delays but horrible service

For the past couple of days I came across a few articles about how railway companies being constantly late and having stupid policies on compensations when it comes to delays.
For example: a passenger is entitled to a compensation only if the train is more than 30 minutes late and even then it's not a full refund but a partial one. However, at the same time they are allowed to be constantly late everyday as long as the delay falls under under the 30 minutes time.

A question about : Bicycle Bells

I think bicycle bells should be replaced with some kind of gadget which would temporarily induce a continuous and fairly loud clicking or squeaking which would sound like some kind of fault on the bike. A bicycle bell is frequently unheard and sometimes sounds aggressive as well as making pedestrians jump out of their skin.

A question about : Northampton to Gatwick (best prices)

OK so if I book my flights I will need to be at Gatwick Airport for thu 19th feb at 10.40 (12.40 flight)
And I land back at gatwick on Fri 6th mar at 16.20
So will be redy to leave the airport about 17.30

I have checked out the cost on virgin trains and an open return is Ј85.50 about 3 times the cost of driving down in my car

A question about : Cycle Service

So my bike needs a good service.

It needs a new chain, a new freewheel, and a tune up to make sure the gears are where they should be.
The chassis, wheels, spokes, inner tubes, seat and everything else is fine. Brakes are okay, although I can see a new set of pads trying to be sold to me.

It's not a bad bike, but I'm not wanting to spend huge amounts on it.

A question about : Virgin "Best Fare Finder"

Was looking to travel to London by train and found that I am much cheaper flying. The interesting thing I noticed that if you are on Virgin Best Fare Finder it gives you a cheaper price if you search for a return journey rather than a single. Would seem that it is not the Best Fare then. Upset to know that East Coast has lost out to them as East Coast always had better prices. Cheaper for us to go abroad than to London.
