A question about : Failure to provide CCA

I sent a cca request to MacKenzieHall at the start of July. They haven't provided the cca so I haven't been making my monthly payments.

I've had a call from them today about it, I didn't speak to them. I am looking for advice on how to proceed please.

A question about : Interim charging order advice

Just wanting some advice..

I had a CCJ registered against me back in July and then was informed a creditor was going to apply for a charging order.

Today I got a letter saying that I hadnt attended a hearing- which I wasnt informed about...

The letter then said that the applicant had withdrawn the application and

1. The interim order was discharged and the application withdrawn and
2. A future meeting to consider the application was vacated.

A question about : Old Lloyds Student CC

Hi all, been in a DMP for just under 3 years. I was going to request cca from Lloyds for my credit card I've had since 2001 but on looking at Noddle it seems the cc is only from 2008.

I do remember being sent a letter along the lines of as I am no longer a student, they will change my cc to a standard one. I dont think I signed anything and I don't even think the account number changed.

Now, is it worth requesting a cca or will they go by the 2008 date?

Our family business (Ltd company) completed some work for someone back in December 2012 and have been chasing them (a husband and wife duo) for payment ever since. When we completed the work for them they were trading under one name and by doing a bit of detective work I can see that they have changed their Trading name/address a number of times since, as well as alternating business ownership between the two of them each time, which makes me think that not paying people is a regular business practice for them.

Hi all, my 1st post on here so go gentle, due to reduncy and change in credit card rates and 0% transfer availability my debt spiralled from 9k in 2006 to 65k in sept 2010 having a good job and my head in the sand i waited to 2010 to seek advice and ended up on a DMP, 4 years later and having paid off 20k of debt i am pleased with my progress but things have been extremely tight and want to sort this out

We have a morgage of 92k with 20 years remaining the house is valued at 150k+ So have equity in the property my question is....

A question about : Partial settlement & contract law/ Does a debt still lawfully exist??

It seems firms are attempting to dress full & final settlements up as partial settlements whilst failing to clearly explain to the customer that the debt (being liability) they have been lead to believe will no longer exist, actually WILL continue to exist & 'could' lawfully be pursued in the future as liability (being debt) remains.

There needs to be ABSOLUTE TRANSPARENCY regarding settlement payments so i thought i'd start this thread so we can get things clarified.
