I am a new poster etc, although I have scoured these boards many times in the past to get advice.
I have a problem that has arisen today.
I took out a couple of a Provident loans in 2012 but then moved house and the agent I had got fired for 'fiddling the takings'.

A question about : Robinson way

Newbie here looking for some advice please.

Around 2 months ago I received a letter from Robinson way about a debt. I sent them a prove it letter and they have sent the following back.

A cover letter that says they are collecting on behalf of Moorgate Loan Servicing (ex MBNA) and they remain the legel owners.

A photocopy of a CCA dated October 04 with an address from that time. There is a photocopy of the same CCA with out a signature or date. Then a copy CCA terms and conditions with a different address on.

A question about : Default Notice removal help!!

I have a default notice against my credit file from Natwest. Basically, I had a student overdraft with them from 2010.

I received a letter sometime at the end of 2012, beginning of 2013 that it was dormant and they wanted it repaid. At the time, being a student I could not repay it, so I made the awful mistake of leaving it. The last time I used the account was probably July 2012 and I had Ј1000 of overdraft.

A question about : what don't you miss?

We used to buy evening papers and a sunday paper every week. Cancelled them because of the cost about 6 months ago.

We've just been talking about sunday papers and realised that we don't miss them at all!

All those years we paid for those and delivery charge on top..Aargh. Wish I'd seen the light earlier.

Won't have to give the paperboy an xmas tip either.

What do you not buy any more because of cost and realise now that you never needed it?

A question about : result of ignoring small debt?

Hi

I had big debts a few years ago but paid them off bar a few exceptions which were for less than Ј80 because I got advised on here that debts that small wudnt be chased too much (it worked, never heard anymore about them)

hi im new to the forum, i have some major debt problems that i dont know what to do for the best?

with loans, high street cards and credit cards its around 25k, i have manged to meet the minimum each month but my overdraft is now nearly 4k too. we have reasonable salaries coming in each month and on paper looks like we can do it but we not.

A question about : cutting off utilities...

Hello,
This is a question for someone close to me.

they are currently in debt to british gas and to the water company and I also do not think they are paying anything at the minute.

Can these companies cut off the electricity and water?

A crisis team and the CAB have been involved, and I hope that they do keep up with repayments but I have a huge fear they aren't.

A question about : Old Debt Default but CCJ's First letter received yesterday

Hello Everyone,
It took me more than 3 years to have the courage to write it and I wonder if any of you can advise me what to do.

I had two credit cards back in 2009, I went through incredibly tough time and even had no place to live so eventually couldn't make payments. Eventually I went behind payments October 2009 on first credit card of Ј1545.00 and second one of Ј1445.00.
