A question about : Working From Home/Supplementary Income

Hi I currently work part-time at a supermarket and based from home making money from affiliate schemes.
Firstly, this month my income from this will be almost Ј1000, only about Ј300 of which I get to keep (as the rest I've promised to others (mostly MSEr's) for signing up for things, so my first question is how I should declare this to the taxman (I'm not that bothered about doing so at the moment, but in future months my income may grow from these affiliate schemes so I might as well find out in advance).

Can anyone recommend a good cleaner in the Bexley Kent area? Would rather have a self-employed cleaner than a large firm as many charge Ј2.50 an hour for fees and rather put this towards extra cleaning IYKWIM!

A question about : Job reduction in hours

My mum has been told her job which currently takes 4 hours a day will be computerised and will only take her 2 hours a day. Does anyone know how the law stands – if she is offered some other work in a different area for the other 2 hours a day, does she have to accept it? Would the company be able to tell her she can only work 2 hours a day (I assume not as her contract is 4), and would she be able to push for redundancy?

Hi guys

Could anyone please tell me what paperwork is required for the first interview for claiming jobseekers allowance?

The person I spoke to who when I made the claim had such a soft voice I couldn't make out all the information she required. I think passport and P45 were among some of the docs. Do I need anything else?

And what would usually happen during the first interview?

I am getting Income Support yet self employed (Permitted Work).

I want to maximsse the amount of proft bny maxing the expenses - within the rules. It's hard to get info out of the DWP re: sallowabale expnses - has anyone ever managed toi obtain a clear cut list?

usefull to find out if its worth taking that job or just to check the firm is working it out right.
