Hello and welcome to all newbies and regulars.

This is the 83rd month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007. Thanks to Batgirl for starting it, Nat21luv, Monkeynut, Sweetpeas, Purpleroses, JesaRose, MizMir and of course special thanks to Aesop for keeping the thread going.

I know this first post is long, but please read as it give tips on how this challenge works. Some of the content has changed

I have been feeling really negative re money but have always looked on this site and read the theads, but today i decided to register. i have always saved in a jar odd change but now im going to activly put 1 pound in a week as well as odds and sods, im excited to be on here.

Welcome to the Challenge for July. The drill is still the same: find as much roadkill as you can between May 1st and 31st.

As HOK3Y said when she launched the first challenge in October 2013, the only stipulation is that it must be found outside of your home and/or car - it has to be money that genuinely wasn't yours or your family's before you found it! So if you find it down the side of the sofa, it doesn't count!

Hi I am currently on a DMP. I have married since but have no financial associations to my husband regarding my dMP. If I declared this to stepchange would it affect my husbands credit file? and would they take my husbands earnings into consideration? I have tried to ask stepchange anonamously but to no avail x

A question about : Debt free for my birthday (May 2015)

So, currently 29 and have the following debt as a result of spending too much through my 20s as well as well-intentioned but extremely poorly executed debt consolidation (several times):

Loan - Ј9,510.90 @ 12.8%
CC - Ј4,359.82 @ 27.9% APR - Barclaycard
CC - Ј4,574.88 @ 1.4566% / 1.5976% per month - Virgin/MBNA
CC - Ј950 @ 0% until Dec 14 (BT card just taken out) - Halifax
Loan - Ј1,174 @ 0% until Aug 2015
Overdraft - Ј3000 used 90% every month.

Total - Ј23,569.60
