Sygma Bank Credit Cards

A question about : Sygma Bank Credit Cards

Sygma Bank Credit Cards.....

Sygma Bank, or Creation Finance, is somewhat of a dark horse when it comes to issuing credit cards. They are not a sub prime lender but their scoring techniques are unique in that they do offer cards to some sub-primers, and it seems once you're in - you're in!

Paying off the overdraft with credit cards

A question about : Paying off the overdraft with credit cards

Hi,

I have a Ј5,000 overdraft with Halifax that I am being charged Ј100 a month for. Without looking closely enough on this site, I applied for a 36 month 0% balance transfer card...only to find out that I can't use this to pay off the overdraft.

Nationwide Introductory Rates When Reapplying for CC

A question about : Nationwide Introductory Rates When Reapplying for CC

Hi all.

Over the last few months, I have paid up and closed 4 credit card accounts. 2 of these were used for stoozing, the others just no longer required.

Each company acknowledged the account closure. But only one; Nationwide (which was closed after introductory period ended), stated that if I wanted to re-apply for a new card in the future, it would not be at preferential (or introductory) rates.

Of course, I know they can do this but it is likely that they will?

Best Credit Card for Rewards

A question about : Best Credit Card for Rewards

Hi,
Could anyone please advise.
I am going to be doing a lot of spending over the next month on big house hold purchases. I could use my debit card but thought trying to earn some cashback / rewards might be a good idea. Does anyone have any ideas for the best card to apply for?

What should i do with my cards?

A question about : What should i do with my cards?

Hi all, long time reader and first time poster here.

In the next week or so I will be consumer debt free - I'm in the process of buying my first home with my wife, and I still have a student loan.

My situation is that I have a Barclaycard Initial, interest rate of about 19%. I cleared it last year on a balance transfer to a 0% card, but as it's been open since 2010 I have kept it open for the positive impact on my credit report of a long term line of credit. The balance limit is Ј1600
