Best Credit Card for Rewards

A question about : Best Credit Card for Rewards

Hi,
Could anyone please advise.
I am going to be doing a lot of spending over the next month on big house hold purchases. I could use my debit card but thought trying to earn some cashback / rewards might be a good idea. Does anyone have any ideas for the best card to apply for?

• Personally I prefer hard cash to any 'rewards' with restricted usability: Cashback Credit Cards
  However, if you have a clear idea of what exactly you want, check Credit Card Rewards and Airline Credit Cards
  And don't forget about TCB/Quidco.
  Pockit Prepaid Card pays 5% for B&Q and up to 10% for some other retailers.
