How long a merchant can issue credit card refund??Say from the transaction date after lapse of 6 to 7 months can a merchant issue credit card refund??

A question about : First time credit card??

Hello, I've never had a credit card before and was looking for any help please? The only reason why I am getting a credit card is because I am hiring a car abroard and they need to keep a credit card on file 'just in case'. So I don't want to use the card and want to get rid as soon as I come back.

Can anyone help by advising which card would be best for me please as I have no idea?

Good morning, I hope you don`t think this is a daft question but trying to think to the future for my daughter and we haven`t got a clue where she should start.

She is 18, in full time education, (does not want to go to Uni), has a Saturday job, Lloyds bank account with a healthy balance (the one you can have until aged 19), a debit card, ISA etc.

Hi,

I'm a UK expat living in Germany and I have some debts on my UK credit card that I'd like to transfer to a 0% interest card.

I checked the balance transfer eligibility calculator on the MSE website, but I think the details required to complete the fields only cater for UK residents...

Does anyone know of any 0% interest cards open to expats or, alternatively, can anyone kindly offer me some advice on what I should do in this situation? Is balance transfer still an option for me?

I hope that this is not something already covered elsewhere but I am wondering if it might be prudent to let Natwest (whom I currently have a Mastercard with) know that I am about to perform a balance transfer, or that I am am looking to perform one.

Might this lead them to lower the interest rate permanently or offer some other opportunity as I am swapping from them to somewhere else?

This is the first balance transfer I will have undertaken and I am just a little wary of how it all works!
