A question about : VANQUIS BANK

I have had a Vanquis credit card for 6 months now and am aware of their high interest and other negatives. But, what gets me is that when you need particular advice on say a matter of security, a credit card fraud/scam, Vanquis Bank seem disinterested! There is literally no one to speak to in this particular area, with no special telephone number to ring for advice or to voice one's concern which incidentally afects all of us legit internet users.

Does anyone have any experience of Shout credit card which is part of Raphaels bank?

Looking for ways of rebuilding credit and have been declined by cap 1, aqua and vanquis.

A question about : Natwest YourPoints

I received the letter regarding Natwest dropping Airmiles and starting YourPoints.

Everything in the documentation was the same as I have read else where, apart from a very small minor point where they mentioned the scheme costs Ј3 per months, unless you spend Ј1000 on the credit card and then the Ј3 is removed for that month!!!

So first they remove Airmiles, and now they introduce a new scheme that you have to pay to belong to unless you are planning on spending Ј12000 per year on the card!!!!

A question about : New Top Balance Transfer Card – Get a sneaky extra month of 0%

There’s currently a credit card available from Barclaycard which will give you fee-free balance transfers (as long as they are requested within 60 days) at 0% for 10 months. Or to be more accurate, it is a Barclaycard, but it’s actually available from Barclays.

A question about : Sentinel card protection

I've had a Lloyds TSB Asset Gold card for 3-4 years now. I never spend on it and never use it because with it comes free Sentinel card protection for my Wife and I.

I've been stoozing over the last few months, and currently am maxed out on MBNA, Barclaycard I'm getting there with Sainsbury's.

Clearly I don't want too many cards to my name for the sake of future applications.

Is the Lloyds TSB card worth keeping for Sentinel?

What is the cheapest way of obtaining a Sentinel-type service?

As anybody got any idea roughly how long you wait for a c.c, we are going away 4th Aug and was going to apply hoping we would have received it by then, do you think I am hoping too much?
