A question about : Council Tax Annexe Discount Problem

I have just received a bill for a self-contained flat within my property which I have now occupied after my parents left on 15th March 2014.

I have just spoken to the Council Tax department trying to claim the Annexe Discount but was told that Calderdale do not offer this.

I was under the impression that the government has instructed all councils to offer this discount.

When you google 'annexe discount', lots of councils seem to be offering it, so why aren't all?

When I was a student I opened a Virgin media Internet account, this was in 2003. Ј128 was outstanding on the account and this is listed on my credit file.

In 2008 they added a second account to my credit file with an outstanding balance of Ј174 in error (turns out the error occured when they migrated data from one database to another - it happens).

hi is it possible to reclaim charges or interest from catalogues?I have a studio24 and argos account which i am struggling to pay off as im now a single parent...i am on a dmp to help but both these companies refused to freeze the interest to help me pay them off.....i havent ordered from them for years but am getting nowhere due to all the interest and charges etc.....any advice?

A question about : Mortgage PPI

I need a bit of help in regards to a mortgage PPI. I think that when we went through our mortgage in 2008, PPI was automatically added on by our mortgage adviser.

I am in a joint mortgage with 2 other people who equally own the house 3 ways. I am certain that PPI would not cover this situation, and I believe that we are still paying for the PPI

Does anyone know if I would be entitled to claim for the PPI back? As you imagine, in 7 years we would have a lot to claim back

A question about : Council Tax appeal – Scotland

Hey Everyone.

I have lived in my property for the last 3 years and it has now come to my attention that all my neighbours (With the same property) are paying a lower Council tax band than my block. I live in a 2 bed room 4 in a Block cottage Flat and my street is a Mix of these and 3 Bedroom Simi-detached houses.

I have sent a letter appealing the council banding along with the SAA Print outs showing the banding of all property’s on my street.

A question about : How do I claim back on an income protection plan

We are trying to find information on claiming back on a income protection policy that was sold when its was not necessary as the person who was sold the policy was a director and the salary was always guaranteed. Where can I find advice on this?? Thanks in advance
