A question about : Help

Dear All,

I wonder if anyone can help me? I had a letter yesterday from the IVA Council saying I could have benn mis sold my IVA and that they could help me get some of myu money back.

I don't know what to do..... I am seriously struggling with my IVA payments and this seems to good to be true.

However, I just googled The IVA Council and apparently it is a scam - has anyone else had a letter like this?

I have seen this mentioned in another post but was hoping someone could give me some more info and if you know when it comes into force

Not possible for OH as his debts are more that 15k, but might be a better option for mine

Hi All

I got my experian credit report recently, it said I owed around 12k in total, but was missing some debt's i expected to be on there.

It had my main debts to santander, nationwide, wonga, and two other smaller debts on there.

However I know for a fact I owe money to 2 more payday loan firms ( though they were very spurious companies, not sure if they still exist ) and I owe money to two gambling agencies who gave me massive credit when I was an addict, and im sure a couple of other debt's may be missing.

I'm in a IVA. My IVa firm has been behaving a little unsavoury.

It all started with an RX1 form. I received an RX1 form a couple of years into my IVA from a company who i have no dealings with who (and this is the crux of the matter) use a gmail email address.

Now one of the reasons i am in so much debt is due to being scammed Naturally i am now very wary.

So i sent them an email...

I received a letter from yourselves with the ref no 'JC/148247'.

A question about : IVA almost paid off .. or so I thought

I'm in the final year of a personal IVA. Because I had a large PPI repayment from something I claimed before I took out the IVA, by the time the five years are up, I will have paid back almost all the large amount of money that went into the IVA, will be around Ј1,000 short of the total on the paperwork. I have already paid more than the amount of my 60 monthly payments due to the windfall of PPI and still have about nine payments to make.
