A question about : Need a new site to host a domain

As the title says. Currently with Melbourne IT for hosting a .co.uk domain that I look after for a small business site. (Hangover from the demise of Microsoft Office Live Small Business site)

Previously paid $29 USD for 2 years registration. They are now asking for $195 (USD or OZ not sure, waiting for response). I need to re-locate the registration site.

The actual website is hosted elsewhere and will stay where it is.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a new domain host? GoDaddy? 123? ...?

A question about : Hudl clock going slow

When I switched on my Hudl2 this am the clock was over 3 hrs slow
Have gone into settings and reset the time The clock is going below losing time Now 8 mins slow in past 20 mins I set the clock manually Can anyone help me please?

A question about : Tesco payg mob. Advice please

....and before the fruit phone jokes begin, let me explain that mobile, landline, computer and connectivity problems have been a constant here and are worsening. Choice of Blackberry 2 years ago was a best worst option, when 'finer' things did not work at all here, or but patchily. I've persisted and limped along, often driving elsewhere to try and get anything to work. It's usually fast and fine when away from here.

A question about : How do you attach your MIFI Modem to the window?

I've recently purchased a Huawei E5331 Mi-Fi Modem.

I'd like to be able attach it to windows (the glass variety, not the OS), in a way that will enable it to be easily removed, without leaving any residue on the glass.

I was thinking of using a couple of double sided suckers.

However, I wonder if there are alternative/better ways attaching it, perhaps a bracket (maybe something similar to a Satnav bracket?), or a sling?

A question about : Decent netbook under Ј250

I found a thread but it was locked some time ago. So good people I was thinking Tesco or maybe Argos for an Acer or Asus. I need to send documents,invoices pictures on the move.
Nothing big I don't need much else. Just web browsing like now and forms etc.
Any recommended brands and vendors please?
Edit I dont need a touch screen or a big screen 10 inch or so is fine. Portability is important.

A question about : Desktop Mac 3/4 years old 500 gb

This is the 21 1/2 inch screen one. It's on the White screen of death all the time. I've tried all the u tube fix its and sometimes they have worked. Always ends up going again. I've done a system repair and a permissions repair. Computer says the drive is working... In desparation I have left it with a local repair man who says the hard drive maybe corrupt.

How much should I be paying? Don't want to get ripped off? Or is this a case of how long is a piece of string?

A question about : TrueCrypt Alternative Data Encryption

I note the publishers of TrueCrypt have terminated support for the program and the subsequent rumors of a NSA infiltration into the team and a possible back-door into the password. I was content to continue using it because there is no suggestion yet that anyone other than the NSA can gain unorthorised access and I don't care if the NSA see what I have.

A question about : Internet Explorer browser

That's my browser that I use, and I used it as normal first thing this morning okay and then it went wrong and I cant get it to come up again. I've tried switching everything off (including computer at the plug) and it still keeps coming up with that wording that its having a problem trying to connect will shut programme and troubleshoot and nothing happens.

Thankfully, I have the icon for another browser and I'm using that at present. I shall be going back to IE though, as its the one I am most familiar with.
