A question about : GAME trade-in...price-matching with CEX

Don't know if this has been mentioned before but my local GAME store is currently price-matching with CEX on trade-ins.

My son got an unbelievably good deal when swapping his XBox 360 and games for a PS3 and games yesterday, so much so that we have just been checking the receipt in case there were any errors.

The GAME trade-in price for the console was Ј60 but as they matched the CEX price, we got Ј97!

A question about : What game are you currently playing?

As the title says, what game are you working on at the moment? Your favourite MMO or a new console game? Maybe even a retro blast from the past?

I'm currently playing Infamous 2, and taking breaks to play a bit of Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes.

Starting last August I went on a bit of a Diablo 3 spree, clocking up around 500 hours total . Ended up quitting once I got my Hardcore Wizard up to level 60 as I felt like I'd won by that stage.

hey everyone... This christmas I am going to buy either an XBOX ONE or PS4...

Historically I am a Playstation fan but I am hearing great things about both consoles...

Any thoughts?

Only a week until Call of Duty: Ghosts. I am very excited. Have booked the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off work. I know it might seem sad but I don't care!

Just wondering if anybody has seen anything that confirms what is in the game? I have seen a bit of multiplayer gaming and I must say it looks amazing!

A question about : Prices of next-gen games

I've become accustomed to picking up PS3/360 games for Ј30 around or just after release, however the prices for the latest games seems to be around the Ј40 - Ј45 mark.

Will this be the new norm or will prices start to creep down as the number of next gen console users increases?

I'm struggling to remember how expensive the PS3/360 games were around release, but do vaguely remember a friend of mine paying Ј65 - Ј70 for N64 games when it first came out.

Wonder how many ps4 and xboxes we will be seeing on eBay selling for 4 or 5 times the rrp value I think when the Nintendo wii was first released there was a huge shortage some consoles were goin for over a grand
