A question about : Crown Currency: Customer FAQs

I have just received an email from the CCE Administrators attaching documents, one of these is FAQs and included in this it states that customers have not paid by debit or credit cards. I used my Visa Dr card for my Ј700 Euro order. Acc to What consumer website it states that using a Visa dr card offers protection for shoppers and that you can claim back if the goods you buy are damaged or product/services are not delivered. Will this still stand for the Euro order via CCE?

A question about : CCE horror story

I have used CCE several times in the past with no problem but have now lost Ј400, which is insufferable, but having read the posts, I am so sorry for those who have lost much greater amounts.

The only thing to say is that it re-inforces the adage, buy little & often, and spread the risk around. Small is beautiful.

Next time I'll hopefully take my own advice!

A question about : Used Debit Card

I also used Debit Card to pay for Ј1000.00 transaction, but this was paid into Crown Holdings Ltd. Barclay's Account. The previous time I made an exchange the transaction was paid into Crown Currency Lt. Barclay's Account and I was assuming that they had created Crown Holdings Ltd. account for transactions still to be honoured (not). I have sent letter re: chargeback to my Bank and await a reply, (won't hold my breath). Why do FSA have Crown as a registered company but not supported by FSA?

A question about : 14 day Cooling Off

I paid crown currency Ј2,200 on 27th September, does anybody know if the 14 day cooling off rule applies which means we are within our legal rights to cancel the contract with crown?
