Parcel delivery firms: who are the best and worst?

With the festive season nearly here, parcel delivery firms are zipping around the UK helping out the big man in the red suit. Yet sadly parcel delivery horror stories abound - ranging from no-shows to “they threw the goods over the fence” or “they lied that we weren't in”.

So it’s time for our annual poll to work out who are the good guys and who are the cowboys...

Real-life MMD: Should I try to boost my salary at a charity?

A question about : Real-life MMD: Should I try to boost my salary at a charity?

Money Moral Dilemma: Should I try to boost my salary at a charity?

I've been offered a job at a charity I really care about, but it turns out the starting wage is Ј5,000 less than my current wage. It also involves odd working hours and a longer, more expensive commute. They really want me, I want to take the job, but I don't know if I can take the financial hit. Is it unreasonable to haggle on my starting wage, even though the employer is a charity?

Is your energy company's service any good?

There have been more horrid reports of energy firm billing errors. We regularly ask for your feedback on firms, and have brought this poll forward to see if anything has changed since we last ran the poll in August.

Scottish Power

A question about : Scottish Power

i cannot express enough how bad the customer service department are at scottish power
I gave had an ongoing battle with them regarding monthly direct debit payments since may 2014 which is currently with the ombudsman
The customer service operatives show no interest in resolving problems you will consistently wait between 30 and 45 mins for calls to be answered and a call back although promised is rarely returned
My advise is not to use this energy supplier

Which of these firms have you tried to haggle with IN THE LAST YEAR?

Call centre haggling can provide big savings - whether it be digital TV, broadband, credit cards, breakdown cover, insurance and more. Each year we try to gauge the success rates of those who've done it. So please let us know whether you gained cheaper prices, extra goods, better deals or reduced interest.

Select as many providers as you want.

Reallife MMD: Should I send wedding invites to family members who can't come?

A question about : Reallife MMD: Should I send wedding invites to family members who can't come?

Money Moral Dilemma: Should I send wedding invites to family members who can't come?

We're getting married this year, but haven't sent the invitations yet. A few of my relatives say they can't come at such short notice, but my mum insists I still send them invitations. This means doubling the number of invites, and money's tight. The last thing I want is to upset people, but it feels a waste.
