Ok heres the story today my Landlord came and served us 8 weeks notice to leave their property. Only because there situation has changed and they need to move back in.
The problem is we have 3 children that live with us and just about break even every month.

Hi. My partner is looking after our child and I have full time work. We are living together. Is there any difference who will be claiming HB?

Hi, my girlfriend is pregnant and i'm currently working 30hrs a week picking up around 185 a week (minimum wage) shes currently living in a 2 up, 2 down terraced house with her brother mother and dad as you can imagine space is at a minimal and she requires a house with 2 rooms 1 for the baby and 1 for her!

I'm looking for some advice to do with our tenancy. Our relationship has broken down, and we have been living 'separate under the same roof' for a while - but for the sake of my children, I need to be in a separate home as it is just not working.

Our current tenancy is a joint tenancy, but we have had no written lease. My OH refuses to move out of the house, even though it would be me remaining with the children, and being able to remain in their home would of course be the better option for them in a time of turmoil.

-Earns approx Ј185 a week after tax working full time.
-Has a joint mortgage with husband, around Ј17k left before it is paid off.
-Has small amount of personal savings under Ј6k
