A question about : 1.9% money transfer cash to AC offer from Barclaycard

I just got an offer from Barclaycard
- Transfer cash to current account
- 0% interest until Feb 2015
- 1.9% fee applies
- My limit is only Ј3000 (unfortunately)
- I currently still have a container in 3% interest current account.
- Presumably 0.5% net profit interest for about four months (0.333 year)

Suppose I transfer Ј3000 to my current account. Profit will be
- In tern of cash 0.333*0.005*3000 = Ј4.99 (not really worthy)

A question about : halifax clarity card

Hi, does anyone else use this card. I got one last year for our trip and was pleased with the rates I got and no charges.

However I have used it this month in spain to pay for car hire and my statement has just come through. The only info the statement shows is the uk charge in pounds, it does not show the charge in euro or the rate of exchange. They say they have been doing it like this for a couple of months now.

A question about : Contract termination due to long term ill health

Hi,
I've been employed for 11 years 3 months. Unfortunately I have been on long term sick for almost 6 years. I've attended numerous medicals arranged through work which have all supported my consultant and GP diagnoses.
I was eventually called in for a meeting today with HR for my first meeting in over 4 years of face to face meetings - have only had very sporadic email contact during this time - all initiated by me!

A question about : taken local garage to court and won and they won't pay

I took my local garage to court as they damaged my car. The court found in my favour but the garage owner won't pay and has threatened me. Bailiffs aren't interested as the amount is Ј210 and the court bailiff will charge another Ј100 and cannot guarantee he will pay up. What is the point of small claims if this can happen and why should I be threatened by a thug for standing up for myself. I'm a 55 year old woman and this creep has all my contact details and know I live alone. Any advice please.

Hi I recieved a letter from The Thomas Higgins Partnership demanding pay from my Company for Ј854.35.
The claimant is Money Inc Ltd. I don't owe anyone money at present so I'm sure its a scam.
There are no details about what its for I don't want ring or send a letter in case it plays into their hands.
Has anyone else received this letter or have any knowledge about it.

A question about : Credit card help please

Hi, I have never had a credit card before but want to clear my Ј2800 overdraft as I am getting Ј50 charges a month(I can pay back Ј100 a month). I heard that some credit cards can put money in your account for 0% interest for a certain amount of time. Would anyone know the best one to apply for please? Thanks.
