A question about : eBay/Paypal scam?

I'm new to eBay and have one item listed (activity tracker). I put it in auction and started the price at Ј30. A few people have bidded and it's currently at Ј36.

Then I got a message from someone in the US with no eBay history and who had joined not long ago. They offered me Ј100 and wanted me to send them a Paypal request to their provided email address, promising the money would be there presently.

Having a rubbish day!

On Wednesday I made an order & 'paid' by paypal, thinking I had added my credit card to the payment rather than my debit card.

Today I saw that the money has come out of my account through the debit card on my paypal account & I didn't have the funds to cover it.

I have now gone over my overdraft, will be charged & have no cash at all for the last day of half term. So upset.

I have also been through a similar scam to the ketone one for a free trial for Slimgenix Pro & EXF Cleanse and they've taken Ј94.99 then a few 29p out of my account for their newsletters.

A question about : Specsavers sell used frames

I bought new glasses recently from Specsavers, picked them up yesterday. I went back into the store today because one of the pairs looked very different to how they looked last week and I thought they might have made them up in a different colour to the ones I chose.

I was told that they are 100% certain that my glasses are the same colour as the ones I tried on last week. The reason they know this is because my glasses are the ones I tried on last week. They are the display frame that was in the shop.

I've received a phone call from a guy asking for my mum, claiming to be from the Industrial Workers Office. He had a broad northern accent, even though I'm in the north, I've never heard anything quite so strong! I heard the word industrial and the first thing that came to mind was that it was something to do with dad's work when he was still alive... so I gave her the phone.

Like many, I have been cold called by Industrial Hearing Clinic.

As I had worked for British Coal/NCB I was interested as I have suffered from Tinnitus for around 10 years (am now 54 yrs old) and had previously thought about making a claim, but never seemed to get around to it and I didn't want to be part of the claims culture brigade so just put up with it.

A question about : Creme Eggs

Why do Americans like to mess up things? I knew something like this would happen when Kraft bought Cadburys...

Firstly they are selling creme eggs in packs of 5, instead of 6. I'm not completely outraged by this

But also they're stopping using Dairy Milk chocolate for the chocolate in Creme Eggs!

You may think it's silly me ranting about this before I've tried one and I am going to go try one to see what it's like, but I have a feeling I most likely wont like it or prefer the taste of last year's Creme Eggs
