RSA Home Insurance - Avoid !!!!

A renewal reminder was allegedly sent out in August, received last week for house and content renewal in October.
Om query as to why it was now only content only, they advised house insurance was cancelled in the summer.

On raising a complaint with their brokers, they claim to have given notice on cancellation but no reasons given.

It seems that poor Malcolm Rifkind struggles on his paltry Ј67000 a year salary so he flogs access to contacts as a lucrative sideline. Apparently this is justified by him on the basis that, as a lawyer, he could earn much more outside the commons. WE'LL FLAMING WELL GO AND BECOME A LAWYER THEN!

Same with Jack Straw. These elitist insular Westminster bubble shysters haven't got a clue about the real world of ordinary working people.

A question about : "real" ingredients vent

The Knorr stock cube advert with Marco Pierre White claiming that they are made from real ingredients has been annoying me for a while.

Now I see that Walkers are advertising some deli crisps that are also made from real ingredients

So what sort of ingredients would you use if you didn't have any real ones - imaginary ones ?

A question about : Parcelforce 'Clearance fee'

I've recently ordered an item of computer diagnostic equipment from a manufacturer's website in the USA as it seemed cheaper than buying it from a UK reseller. I did the dollar to Sterling conversion, add VAT and it came out about Ј13 cheaper overall (Ј135+VAT including delivery versus Ј175.99 inc. VAT).
However, when I received an invoice from Parcelforce I hadn't bargained for the addition of a 'Parcelforce Clearance fee' of Ј13.50 which reduced my saving to 22p!
