    Medical quiz

A question about : Medical quiz

First things first, I am a 46 year old white guy. Always been reasonably healthy and look after myself but do have cause to visit the doctors every now and again. Sadly I have a doctor where my issues are caused by me or my lifestyle.

Regardless of the situation it always used to be that I should cut down drinking and stop smoking. So........ I rarely drink now (occasions only) and have stopped smoking.

    Ј32M for Monet painting

A question about : Ј32M for Monet painting

Having just read the news about the fantastic price of a Monet paining Nympheas, it sadly reminded me of a sorry part of my family history, perpetrated by my father.

In 1952 my great grandfather died, leaving his 16 year old grandson (my father) to clear his house. Having been widowed some years previously, and a master cabinet maker to trade, almost all of his wooden furniture and wooden bits and bobs were kept, whilst the rest was simply dumped at the local council tip (as was the case in these days).

    Cable TV meets the internet

A question about : Cable TV meets the internet

Pluto.TV is an internet and mobile app that has a whole chunk of comedy stations, not just commercial standup but sketch comedy and internet comedy. I feel like this does a good job of making it seem like you're still watching TV even though it's internet content... For some strange reason, I really like the concept of channels and shows, even if it is, ultimately, always-available internet content. I could always use more short attention span entertainment.

Daily Mail rates the outfits of Gaza Strip refugees

A question about : Daily Mail rates the outfits of Gaza Strip refugees

Rather controversial, but original, and not bad for the Mash!

      Quote:

BRITAIN'S leading 1950s newspaper has provided a fashion rundown of female Palestinians fleeing airstrikes.

Under the headline 'The Gaza Strip Catwalk', the Daily Mail profiled a few of the many women stepping out in the Middle Eastern hotspot.......
