Obligation to supply?

A question about : Obligation to supply?

I'd appreciate a view on this situation.

Last week I ordered a TV off a well known internet retailer. The TV was priced at that time at £400, but there was one available under their 'Used and New' section for £340. It was described as being 'as new' but with the box opened. I imagined it was a return.

I placed an order.

Hi guys, just after a bit of advice.

In January I was contacted by a company (Business Telecom) wanting me to sign up with them for a mobile phone.

I did - the phone arrived on the Saturday, but by the following Friday I had decided that I didn't want to continue, so contacted them both by email and phone to let them know this (I was abroad at the time).

When I got back to the UK late the following week, I boxed up the phone and sent it back to them - complete with all the stuff they had sent me.

Mattress Return Distance Selling Regulations

A question about : Mattress Return Distance Selling Regulations

I have a mattress purchased and the supplier refuses to refund me the money under DSR until I return the mattress. I understand that the supplier should refund the money before the goods are returned. Is this correct? Also the seller did not state in their Ts & Cs that the buyer should return items at their own expense.

our 2 year old daughter come home from nursery yesterday with about 2 inch of hair missing, it's been done very badly, it looks like someone put it into a ponytail and just chopped 2 inch off the length, what are out rights and who do we complain to?

the nursery is denying it, but we know it happened there. we have already told them she wont be returning

Specsavers

Hi all,

I need to complain to Specsavers about Specsavers. It appears that all their branches are franchised and their website says that I need to address my complaint to the person(s) I wish to complain about (doubt this will have the desired effect!).

I cannot find any complaints department or head office contact details for Specsavers - can anyone else find these?

Morning,

My fianc! booked (online) a wedding band.
She accepted the Terms and was expected to pay a 25% deposit via BACS. She only did this after communication with the band suggesting they would get booked up, so she felt pressured into it by the band.

A weekend past and we checked our budget and had a change of heart. We contacted the band to release the date and have been threatened with legal action if we don't pay 75% of the fee in 7 days.

Hi guys, need some advice.

Purchased an item (Ј90). Purchased on the 4th. It developed a fault on the 10th. I contacted them and expressly told them I wanted a replacement and not a refund.

They took the item by courier from me to replace it with a working item. Then, on the 20th I was wondering where the replacement was. So I contacted them and they said they couldn't replace it because the replacements had all sold out the day before and they would give a refund instead
